Elisa Bowcott, PT, DPT, OCS

Elisa has been with Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital since 2008.  She did her undergraduate work in Biology/Psychology at Northwest Missouri State.  While at NWMSU, Elisa was a member of the Bearcat Track & Field Team.  She received her Masters of Physical Therapy and Clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees from UNMC in 2001 and 2005, respectively and became a board certified  Orthopaedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association in 2009.  Elisa has specialized training in manual therapy treatment of the spine.  Her primary interest, having been a competitive runner at both the high school and collegiate levels, is working with the running population and she has specialized training and interest in the treatment of lower extremity injuries, particularly the foot and ankle.  Elisa participated competitively with USA Youth Track & Field as a member of the Cornhusker Flyers Track Club.
